Just after 2:00 am in the early morning hours of Tuesday, June 12th, a fire broke out in an attached garage of a home in the 1600 block of Los Canoas Road, which is at the corner of Las Canoas Road and Las Canoas Lane.

Structure Fire with Fatality
SANTA BARBARA, CA – November 18, 2011
The Santa Barbara City Fire Department responded to a report of structure fire in the lower east side of Santa Barbara last night. Initial reports placed the fire on Calle Cesar Chavez. Fire apparatus arrived to find a fire burning on Quarantina Street just south of Kimball Street (official address later ascertained to be 2 South Quarantina Street).

This morning at 06:44 hours, Santa Barbara City Fire, CHP and AMR ambulance responded to a reported traffic accident with injuries. The incident was first reported as 101 southbound south of Mission Street. The incident location was corrected to 101 SB south of La Cumbre Road.
